Education, key to avoid complications

"In the diabetes , the lack of education is as serious as the lack of insulin. " Every six seconds a person dies from the disease or some complication in the world, says the doctor Marco Villalvazo, certified diabetes educator.

In Mexico, 6.4 million people live with diabetes . That is, 9.2% of the adult population (over 20 years old) must control their blood glucose levels.

In the world, more than 360 million people suffer from it, of which 175 million have no diagnosis
