Another study of Brigham and Women's Hospital (BH) , published in the magazine Environmental Health Perspectives, confirms the relationship between phthalates and the development of diabetes in the women.

The researchers analyzed the urine samples of 2,350 participants, and those who showed a higher level of phthalates in the urine they had twice the risk of suffering diabetes .
