Depression is less frequent in working mothers

According to a study published in Journal of Family Psychology, women who manage to balance their professional development, housework and parenting, are less likely to suffer depression .

Women who have babies and preschool children, who have at least part-time employment, can cope better with the stress , they feel happier and improve their physical and mental health.

They are better able to handle complicated situations, thanks to their professional activities improving their social skills, and providing opportunities for progress and satisfaction beyond their family nuclei.

Regarding relationships with their children, they are more sensitive to their needs, they provide them with greater attention and actively collaborate in their daily tasks, in addition to offering them better learning opportunities and quality time.

In comparison with those who work full time or are housewives, they make more concessions that allow them to balance both activities, leaving aside the stereotype of the super mom, role that is not well defined because you can not always meet everything.
