Correct amounts for the introduction of new foods to the baby

When the second semester of the baby's life arrives, you can start with the introduction of new foods in the daily diet. Given the fear and the disjunctive, it is always advisable to go to the doctor: however, what is the ideal amount?

According to the Medical Bulletin of Children's Hospital of Mexico, the amount of the new food can be from 10 to 15 g, which in practical terms equals two to three spoonfuls coffee makers

These rations are recommended based on the observation of the baby's tolerance to the new foods. The amount will not vary for three days until the food is tolerated and is part of the set of daily foods.

The total amount will be increased progressively until reaching the necessary energy contribution; without forgetting to take as parameter the satiety of the child. It is recommended that the feeding begins with the offering of different foods to the breast milk and at the end of the breastfeeding.
