The study was conducted to more than 300 adults New Zealand , who participated in a program called "green recipe" that has as an initiative that people make 30 minutes of physical activity to burn at least 300 calories . Half of the group used a count steps.

The results were that those who kept a record of how much they walked daily increased the time of the walks up to 50 minutes compared to those who did not use the count steps.
