Bret Michaels the face of diabetes in the US

During, November, the American diabetes month , the American Diabetes Association joins Bret Michaels , country musician and winner of "Celebrity Apprentice, "of the NBC channel, in order to take action against diabetes.

Bret was selected as the representative of diabetes by the American Diabetes Association to help promote the campaign “Stop Diabetes ”.

Bret suffers from Diabetes type 1 from 6 years of age and has raised more than 300 thousand dollars for the association.

According to the American Diabetes Association, every 20 seconds a person is diagnosed with this disease . Typically, type 1 diabetes is diagnosed in children and young adults.
