Beautiful women stress men

When a man notices the presence of an attractive woman, it is very likely that his stress levels will rise. This is because increase your cortisol levels , which is a hormone of the adrenal gland that is released when such encounters occur, indicated a study conducted by the University of Valencia, Spain.

Alicia Salvador , researcher and project manager at the Faculty of Psychology, said that the work analyzed the biochemical response of several young men, when they found themselves in the presence of a woman their own age in a waiting room.

The results showed that men increased their cortisol levels depending on the characteristics of the woman, while in the presence of other men, their levels of cortisol they remained low.

The stress that causes the increase of cortisol levels, is only harmful if you are exposed for long periods of time to this situation, this same hormone is responsible for preparing us biologically to initiate a sexual relationship, increasing blood glucose levels , what it fills us with energy and it awakens our degree of alertness.
