Are most of the foods you buy prepared, packaged or processed?

Do you buy butter and other high-fat dairy products?

Do you eat chops, ribs or other high-fat meats?

Do you eat many fried or breaded foods?

Do you like food with thick, creamy sauces?

When you eat away from home, do you choose unhealthy food?

Do you postpone the date to go on a diet?

Do not you do regular exercise?

Have you never done tests to check your cholesterol?

If you answered most of the questions in a positive way, you probably have your levels of cholesterol high, so one way to reduce them effectively you should only follow the recommendations of the American Heart Association .

 

  1. Choose lean cuts of meat with minimal visible fat
  2. Use a wringer to remove grease from food when roasting or baking.
  3. Hydrates the meat with wines, fruit juice or marinades
  4. Refrigerate the saucers with grease, this way it will be easier to remove it
  5. Remove skin from chicken or turkey before cooking.
  6. Limit the consumption of sausages such as sausages, mortadelas and salami

In other words: consume less fat, choose foods with fiber and starch, and consume alcoholic beverages in moderation.
