6 tips to be more optimistic

Recent research suggests that optimistic people are healthier than those who are pessimistic. They have less colds , face better cardiovascular diseases and they even live longer.

Many people think that being optimistic is an innate attitude given to a lucky few. That is an erroneous assumption, since it is demonstrated that all people can learn to be optimistic. For this we recommend the following.

Take control: Pessimists tend to think that all bad things happen to them, because they have bad luck or because they think they do not have what it takes to succeed.

We must remember that not everything can go well. Specialists recommend finding a balance between being responsible for your actions, and being aware that there are situations that simply can not go well. There are things that do not depend directly on you.

Stay away from negative people: If you are surrounded by shadowy people, the safest thing is that you feel the same. Eliminate these people from your environment. Find friends that make you have fun moments, that give you support and that make you happy.

Learn to create positive thoughts with the following video:

Ponder what makes you happy: flowers, that your dog receives when you get home, go shopping, take care of your garden, etc. If all this makes you feel good analyze it to understand how you got to that point of optimism.

Pamper yourself: If you have worked very hard either in the office or at home, indulge yourself with a treat, your favorite fruit, a book, a massage . These awards help you improve your attitude and see life in a more optimistic way.

Cultivate your optimism: try to break the old patterns of negative thoughts and create others focused on being happier. Apply the saying, how do you see the glass? Half full or half empty? It all depends on the perspective to which you want to direct your thoughts and the results you want to obtain.

Get happy: value what you have. If you always spend it comparing yourself with someone else, you can never be an optimist, on the contrary you can not feel good about yourself. Remember that things can always be worse. Be happy to be who you are and what you have.

Having a positive attitude is not an easy task. There are moments that everything seems to have no solution, however, you have to learn to look for what makes you feel good and put aside negative thoughts, in this way things will be resolved more easily. And how do you see the glass?
