5 steps to happiness

Life is composed of objectives; goals that promise to give us the fullness, happiness. However, it is possible that this is already in our possession the only thing that is needed is to learn to manage and practice the psychology of happiness.

In accordance with Reynaldo Alarcón, Professor Emeritus of the National University of San Marcos in Lima , happiness is an affective state of full satisfaction, a feeling experienced by a person, and only her, in her inner life.

 

5 steps to happiness

The basis of the psychology of happiness lies in the criterion that it is within our grasp and that suffering is part of life, but that in us is the decision to live it.

For Martin Seligman , expert in the psychology of happiness, there are 5 steps that can help you get it:

1. Positive Emotions. It is reflected in the amount of positive words and positive emotions we feel during the day. The greater the number in relation to negative emotions, the greater our well-being.

2. Involvement It refers to the ability to get involved positively in day-to-day acts, even if they seem unpleasant to us, if we manage to turn it around using our strengths in that situation, then our level of well-being rises

3. Relationships Managing relationships constructively helps us also to maintain our high level of well-being

4. Meaning. Belonging to something greater than oneself is one of the steps to wellness. For example, helping someone.

5. Achievement The feeling that things can be done is one of the steps, but associated with the fact that those who really succeed are those who have the greatest capacity for determination and do not give up.

There are many alternatives to achieve happiness, one of which is listening to music, as suggested by a study carried out by University of Groningen in Holland. So what do you expect, do not stop looking for happiness.
